AGM
Vale
Mill Trust held its AGM on Thursday 25th January 2007. The Chair
gave her report followed by the Co-ordinator and Treasurer.
All
Trustees elected to stay on for another year and two new Trustees,
Julie Mitchell & Christine Stanger joined. The officers for
the Trust are:

New Projects at the Mill
The
Trustees are looking to expand the work of the Trust with two
new projects. One will see a Victorian style of growing organic
fruit and vegetables using original plot designs and companion
planting. They are also seeking to take over a derelict allottment
site opposite the Mill with a view to making it into a conservation
area for the whole community.
It
is planned that local people and schools will help with the work
and have their own plots. As the site is very overgrown offenders
on the Community Payback scheme will help with the initial work.
